Great post! I have a location question. Where is Lew Ashby's house in real life?

MP: A lot of my friends -- and by friends I mean weird Australian guys who befriend me on Facebook in order to get closer to Tom Kapinos -- are pretty stoked on this season's newest major character…Lew Ashby. A character who is, miraculously, even more f***ed up than Hank.
Lew wouldn't be complete without Ashby Manor -- his iconic den of iniquity which became a character unto itself this season.
Throughout pre-production, I remember Tom and the producers tirelessly combing Los Angeles for the perfect Ashby house. They narrowed their search down to a cool modern spot in Venice, a palatial estate in Beverly Hills, and a couple houses-cum-recording studios in the Hollywood Hills. The abode they ultimately chose -- and I think one of the best locations of either season -- was a soulful, old-Hollywood style estate on Laurel Canyon. A house actually owned by legendary music producer Rick Rubin -- a man with a bit of an Ashby vibe himself.
Ashby Manor is home to many of the most memorable scenes from Season 2.
Like the “one girl, two c***s…ultimate showdown” in 203.

And here are writers Gabe Roth and Jay Dyer soaking up the Manor vibe.
We even held our wrap party at Ashby Manor. It was an epic night.
In which Metz beat Gabe in beer pong.
And drunken assistants awkwardly paired up.
Only to end the night, and our time here at Ashby Manor…
…bumping uglies in the bushes.
Until next time…

Nice house!
Matt, answer me this: where's Yusuf this season?!

Great blog ! I have a question : who was the brand or the fashion designer behind Karen's wedding dress in season 1 ?
I spent a lot of time looking for that piece of information on the forums, but nobody was able to tell me. Surely, there must be a way to know it ?
This dress was amazingly beautiful !

Karen's wedding dress was by Sharon Cunningham. Unfortunately, she is no longer designing due to personal reasons. That dress was fab.
